Dr. Jackie Walker is a Physical Therapist; she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Marquette University, Milwaukee. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, B.S. in Kinesiology. She completed her undergradute internship at Riekes Center for Human Performance, Menlo Park, California, with a focus in strength and conditioning.
Dr. Walker has more than 17 years experience in physical therapy settings including workplace, schools, and medical settings. She has worked with multiple orthopedic and neurological conditions, work-related injuries, and pediatrics including neurologic and orthopedic impairment and developmental delays.
She is certified in Dry Needling Level 1 & 2 thru Kineticore, Colorado, and has more than 10 years experience. Dr. Walker is a Fellow of Applied Functional Science, successfully completing a 40-week fellowship thru the Gray Institute. Dr. Walker has a special interest in vestibular rehab.
She believes in looking deeper to find the cause of dysfunction rather than chasing symptoms.
Dr. Walker earned 4 varsity letters with the UWEC Women's volleyball team and currently enjoys coaching youth area volleyball. During her free time, Dr. Walker can be found at one of the many sporting clays courses Wisconsin has to offer. She also enjoys gardening, baking, canning, singing and keeping up with her dairy farming family in south central Wisconsin.
